J.H. Williams Update

Hello Parents/Guardians,

Just a quick note to let you know that the first two days of school went really well! We had all hands on deck, and everything went smoothly. The teachers and staff have been doing a great job ensuring a seamless transition for the students. The kids seem excited and engaged, which is fantastic to see.

Student arrival: students can arrive on campus at 7:00 am

Breakfast: 7:00 - 7:15

Homeroom: 7:18

Dismissal: 2:35 (1st bus load and parent pick up students)

2:38 (2nd bus load and walkers)

Lache Pas classes will begin Monday. Classes are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of each week. The class begins right after school until 4 pm and bus transportation will be provided if needed.

Please make sure students return the completed beginning-of-the-year paperwork to their teachers.

*Tan packet (completed and contains parent and student signatures)

*Carnegie Unit Form (completed and contains parent and student signatures), students received this form at Orientation or in class if they are taking a class that will be on their high school transcript.

JHW will be sending home car raffle order forms this week. Please see the flyer for district incentives.

School incentives are as follows:

*for each ticket sold, students can wear free dress (within school guidelines) for a week

*top seller receives $50 cash

$1 Jeans day ( jeans cannot be torn, ripped, or have holes). Students can wear any JHW Spirit Shirt today!

***2nd Order of School Uniform T-Shirts are due by Tuesday, August 22nd**

We are so excited to continue to offer this wonderful technological tool to all of our students. Students will be issued a daily use Chromebook to complete activities; however, Chromebooks will remain on campus unless a need arises for remote learning.

Students must be in their homeroom no later than 7:23 to receive their Chromebooks in homeroom. Any student arriving after this time will not be allowed to go to homeroom to pick up their Chromebook (so as to not disturb that class). We appreciate your efforts in having students arrive at school on time.

Parents,

Due to safety issues, the drop-off and pick-up area is in the back of the school by the stadium. Please do not drop off or pick up students in front of the school.
