Happy National School Counseling Week! We are thankful for Mrs. Powell for all she does for our Crosswell Cub Community!

Progress reports come home today! Please sign and return.

Class Valentine's Parties will be on Friday, February 10th at 1:30-2:00. Classroom teachers will contact parents with more details.

Club Updates:

• Monday: Chorus will begin dismissing at 4:30 this week.
• Tuesday: No Bible Club this week!
• Thursday: Crosswell Soar and Drama Cubs until 4:00.

The 2023 Reading All-Stars Program will kick off this week! The Reading All-Stars program is focused on “using fun, excitement, & Drive baseball to encourage the fun of reading & reading achievement”. The success of this program for students could not be possible without your support. Please see below for further information and key dates.

Dates:

· Reading Dates – Monday, February 6th – Friday, March 10th

o Elementary students will read 5 reading-level appropriate books during this time period.

· Turn in reading logs to media center– Thursday, March 16th

· Celebration Game – Sunday, April 30 or May 21 @3PM at Fluor Field

Habit #5 means that it is better to listen first and to talk

second. This habit is best approached by introducing listening as a skill, something that should

be practiced. Simply put, we have two ears and one mouth and should use the accordingly.
