Halloween Costumes
As many of you know, there is an unfortunate phenomenon across the United States and in our own region. Persons are dressing as clowns and, for a lack of a better term, attempting to scare others—especially children.
We still have many students who are anxious, if not scared. Some continue to verbalize this with our faculty and staff. Fortunately, Oak Grove faculty is doing a great job to ease their anxiety.
To help with the situation, we are asking that students do not wear clown outfits/costumes this year to school during our Halloween party/parade. We feel it is important that we continue to make every effort to alleviate our students’ fears. We wanted you to know this as soon as possible as you make plans for your child’s costumes.
Thank you.
Oak Grove School Education Foundation
Thank you for a successful Culver’s Night!
Thank you to everyone who came out to Culver's last week to support Oak Grove - it was a fun and memorable night! We had a huge crowd and were able to raise additional funds for our differentiated curriculum programs and Soaring Eagle Scholarship. We would like to extend a special thanks to our awesome teachers and staff who volunteered - it was a definite treat for the kids!
