The buzz of the Christmas spirit is running through the Holy Cross hallways. As we get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it is days like this past Wednesday that ground and centers us on the true meaning of Advent. Father Oswaldo and the third-grade class led us in a beautiful Mass for the feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Fr. Oswaldo asked our students to encourage their loved ones to go to confession this Advent season. The liturgical season leading up to Christmas is a time for preparation and purification. Confession can be one of the best ways to enter into the joy of the nativity with a clean heart. Holy Cross Catholic Church will be holding the sacrament of reconciliation on Monday, December 13 at 7:00 pm. We would love to see our families participate as we prepare for Christmas.

This weekend we begin our Christmas Programs with our youngest and sweetest, preschool students. Our Kindergarten through Fourth Grade students perform on Tuesday, December 14th at 7 pm, and our Fifth through Eighth Grade students on Thursday, December 16th at 7pm.
