Meet students where they are with Twitter, Snapchat & Instagram. Take a historical figure, an author, a character or a scientist. Then have the students create a profile for them on social media. Handles, hashtags with 240 character or less posts can lead students to higher level thinking and creativity while meeting the learning goal.

Add the final projects to a Padlet. Here, the students from their class (and others) can browse and add peer feedback. Don't be afraid to invite a professional in the field to come and offer insight and advice on their work.
