After serving our Spartan families throughout the 2019-2020 school year,
we have made some adjustments to our Spartan Food Pantry.
We now deliver every Friday.
A specific list of items allows our families to shop around
so they can then prepare for what we are providing weekly.
The families will know exactly what they are getting on a consistent basis.
For those who have been our greatest support system through donations,
we will be forever grateful.
You have truly made a difference in the families we have served.
We hope that you will continue your support and spread the word.
Any donations at this time are greatly appreciated.
We now have a contactless donation process
where all donated items can be placed in the
“Food Pantry” bin at the main office entrance
Monday – Friday from 8am-4pm.

Youth Advisory Council
Mt. Tabor High School has the opportunity to nominate three students to the city of Winston-Salem's Youth Advisory Council.
The Youth Advisory Council was created in 1989 by the City Council as an opportunity for high school youth to serve as a conduit to city government. The Council's core focus is youth civic engagement. Examples of activities include:
-Community Programming;
-Developing Youth-Oriented Activities;
-Contributing at least 40 volunteer hours per school year to government-related initiatives, projects, and programs;
-Providing information to the community regarding topics that are important and relevant to the youth in our community; and
-Advising the City Council and the Human Relations Department on matters that relate to the community’s youth population.
If you are passionate about actively helping the Winston-Salem community and giving voice to the needs and thoughts of your peers, please consider completing this form. Mt. Tabor School Counselors will review the submissions and choose three students to go on to the next stage in the application and review process with the Winston Salem Human Relations Department.
We’ve created a google form for you to complete if you’re interested in being considered for this great opportunity. Please make sure to submit this form prior to August 28th.
