IPSF PATS- You may have recently seen Irvine Public Schools Foundation’s announcement of their 2023 Innovative Grants Program awards. These grants have the power to bring amazing ideas to life and continue to keep our school and district on the leading edge of innovative teaching and learning! The Innovative Grants Program is made possible by IPSF thanks to the support of parents like you. Donations to the Parents Appreciating Teachers and Staff (PATS) campaign directly support teacher grants. PATS is a meaningful way to show our teachers, nurses, and staff how much we appreciate all that they do! When you recognize teachers and staff with PATS, they will receive your family’s personal message along with recognition of a PATS donation made to IPSF in their honor. To support the PATS campaign and make a donation in honor of a teacher or staff member, please visit: www.ipsf.net/pats. Thank you for your support and appreciation of our school, our classrooms, and our teachers!

Seniors Please Read- Digital platforms have transformed the way students create, save and share their work throughout their careers in IUSD. We realize that students have years of valuable work stored within Google Workspace, Office 365 and Adobe. Students who are no longer in IUSD will have all their accounts deleted beginning June 16, 2023. See below for specific instructions for each platform on saving desired work.
Google Workspace for Education- Google Workspace for Education is one of the most robust platforms used. As our students progress and exit our district, student accounts continue to store this work. Year after year, thousands of students graduate from IUSD, but the content they create remains with IUSD. This has caused a significant delay in the speed of services in Google Workspace for other users who remain in our district. In addition, these students no longer qualify for the Google Workspace license through IUSD.Students often choose to move any needed work over from their IUSD Google Workspace account to a personal one. Our IUSD Google Accounts FAQ resource includes a tutorial for moving files between IUSD and personal accounts. Please note that Google’s personal account privacy and advertising policies differ from IUSD’s Google Workspace for Education policies. Before moving any content to a personal account, we recommend students and their families review Google’s online safety policies and resources.
Office 365/ Outlook- IUSD students have email functionality through the use of Microsoft Office 365. The ability to email was restricted to internal messaging and a few trusted curriculum vendors, but we realize that there may be relevant information that students may wish to keep. Just as is the case with Google Workspaces, until student accounts are deactivated, these accounts hold data even after they have graduated from IUSD, resulting in increased storage use to our Microsoft space. Since emails from these accounts cannot be forwarded, students will not be able to export anything.
Adobe Content Migration- If students have any content they have created with their District Adobe account that they would like to keep after graduation, there is a way to migrate this content to a new personal Adobe account. This process will migrate Adobe Creative Cloud files and any Adobe Express content that may have been created. This is a one-time transfer and this content will no longer be available on the district account, so please wait until there is no longer a need to use the District Account. Please note, this cannot be used to transfer content to an existing personal account. Full details can be found at graduation.adobe.com.
Dual Enrollment- Earn college credits from Irvine Valley College while attending High School! Dual enrollment classes help you earn your college degree faster, save money on college, and offer you the opportunity to explore subjects not offered in high school. Please note that these courses cannot be used to replace high school courses, and do not go on a student's high school transcript. When students apply to college their senior year, they can report these college courses and grades on their college application. Click HERE for more information and to register.
ROP Summer Courses- ROP will be offering two courses this summer. Click HERE for more information and to register.
