📚📖💞 May 5th-6th Fun in Grades K-4
Our K-4 Grandparent's Day celebration will be on Friday, May 6th from 10:30am-12:30pm-ish. We will start in the gym where the kids will sing and then there will be time to browse the Book Fair and visit classrooms. This will be followed by lunch where, weather permitting, we can eat outside.
🏆 Awards Day for 1st-7th Graders
Our awards day will be May 31st 8:30am. Parents are more than welcome to attend. If you drop off your student in the morning, we ask that you wait until closer to 8:15am before entering the building.
👍 PTO Points
The Limestone Walters PTO Spell-a-thon fundraiser was a huge success! Special thank you to Mrs. Ayler for helping us to have another successful Spell-a-thon, we could not do it without her continued partnership with the PTO. We are truly blessed for her dedication to not only her 3rd students but all of the K-4 students and her commitment to spelling education.
The 2022 Spell-a-thon raised $3607.90!

💭🥰🎯 Principal Ponderings
I loved having outdoor recess in the warmer weather, hearing teacher's celebrate student growth, seeing students thrive with new skills, and witnessing student excitement for poetry during National Poetry Month.
Gratitude
I'm grateful for all of the ways books have brought the LW community together so far this year. I look forward to seeing that grow even more.
