Morris Elementary School
Week of November 27th
Good evening Parents and Guardians,
Welcome back! I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving break. The two days before our break were quite busy. Our all school bus evacuation was a resounding success. Practicing this drill ensures the safety and preparedness of our students in unforeseen situations. It's a testament to our commitment to their well-being and we're immensely proud of their cooperation throughout the drill.
The Friendsgiving Feast was a delightful celebration, filled with warmth, joy, and a true sense of community. Our students reveled in the festivities, enjoying the spirit of togetherness and sharing the joy of the season.
This event and many other events would not have been possible without the incredible support from our dedicated parent volunteers. Your assistance, enthusiasm, and commitment to our school community make a world of difference. We extend our heartfelt thanks for your invaluable contributions; you truly are the backbone of our school success.
This week, we are excited to welcome you to our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences. It's a fantastic opportunity for us to connect, discuss your child's progress, and collaborate on their continued growth and development.
Additionally, mark your calendars for the Morris Book Fair that begins this week. New this year students in first through fifth grade may purchase books during their scheduled classroom time. Please see the schedule below for your child's classroom.
Students can bring cash to school, or GO CASHLESS with Scholastic e-wallet. To learn more/load money onto your child’s Scholastic e-wallet,
