Middle School ELA Units Network

In this series, middle school English Language Arts teachers and instructional coaches will be introduced to the newly revised ELA units, engage in learning around instructional practices, and receive support as they implement the new units. This series is open to educators throughout the state of Michigan.

Who: Middle School English Language Arts teachers, special educators, English Language educators, coaches, and leaders

Kickoff Event: 8/12/22 from 8:30am to 2:30pm via Zoom

Network Meetings: 10/6/22, 1/11/23, and 4/13/23 from 3:30 to 4:30pm via Zoom

Cost: Free

Up to 9 SCECH hours pending

Meetings will be facilitated by Christi Fifield, Secondary ELA and Social Studies Coordinator for Farmington Public Schools and Oakland Schools Literacy Consultants.
