We are all so glad to be in the building. Every day is great at SC!

To accomodate the number of students, the lunch room has been moved to the North Gym. The senior class is happy to use the Commons Area. The junior high kids gets to use the original lunch room that has been set-up differently to maintain 6ft of distance.

A few larger classes are using the space in the Activity Center lobby for class.

Mr. Askerooth is back at SC...teaching science this time!

Here he's utilizing the new SMART Board that has been installed in his room. A handful of teachers have been enjoying learning how to best use the new boards.

The Southeast Region Career & Technology Center was awarded a grant late last year for upgrading and replacing Distance Learning equipment. Along with new Polycom units, a Newline Touch response screen and panel replaced some hardware in the ITV room. Installation was completed this summer by Dickey Rural Networks.

Taking advantage of the fresh air, students are working on a golf unit. They are practicing proper swing technique and learning about the game.

The Officiating class is doing a unit on volleyball. Students had the chance to practice what they've learned by officiating a game.

Careers Class is starting the year off with a Resiliency Curriculum called I am Resilient. To introduce the topic, the students did an exercise as a class called the Minefield Activity. Much like in life, you will not get through this activity without making mistakes. Students learned that it's ok to make mistakes in life as long as you learn from them. This class and activity is about learning how to deal with issues as they arise.
