The Weekly Newsletter for the Henri A. Yelle Elementary
An Amazing Post-Vacation Week Of Fun & Learning!
Yelle Newsletter for April 29th!
Hello from the Yelle.
We are turning the calendar to another new month. It is unreal. Everyone came back refreshed, recharged, and ready to learn. What a tremendous week.
As I try to do each week, I use the big picture above to tell the story of the week in a gallery of pictures of us here at the Yelle.
I am going to speak on the groups of pictures by the four corner masaic groups of pictures. The top left corner has a group of pictures from today's High Five Friday with our Norton Police Officers. We have such a wonderful relationship with our NPD, and our SROs Sgt. Dennett and Officer Robichaud are just plain amazing with our students. We could not ask for better represenatives for our kids. The upper righthand two long pictures show our students working together. Again, it is one of the best things I see as I walk around each day; I love seeing our students collaborating and figuring things out together. The bottom lefthand three pictures are one of our 5th Grade Band practicing for the very first time together. Dr. Bianca had them in at lunchtime getting ready for our first Spring concert in three years. Under the band picture is Dr. O'Neill and Dr. Baeta, our Assistant and Superintendent getting right in and talking with our students on their administrative walk-through this past week. They are two of the best and they show it as they sit right down and talk with our kids. The lower righthand corner group of pictures is from Friday morning when a very special visitor came calling, our very own JiJi from our ST Math program came by and welcomed our students this morning. Our students are so energized by the ST Math program and to see JiJi was just sensational.
The pictures above and the others from Twitter below really do relay a story of the amazing accomplishments our students and teachers have been able to achieve just this past week. Please check them out below and all over our Twitter feed to help to tell the incredible story we are writing this year.
Please check out the rest of the Newsletter for some important information including ... upcoming calendar events including Spring Picture Day next Thursday, news from the PTO and SEPAC, the need for 5th Grade pictures for the Yearbook, sponsors for the Yearbook, the It Takes A Community basketball game, and more ...
Please check it out.
Thanks again; stay safe and well; have a wonderful weekend,
Marty

We have highly-qualified teachers available and ready to provide this extra support in English Language Arts/ Literacy and Mathematics/ Numeracy. The virtual tutoring acceleration program runs Monday-Friday from 3:00pm-7:00pm. Students may receive up to two 45 minute sessions per week.
Please sign in and book a tutoring session.
They may do so by accessing GoSchoolBox via their Classlink.
I strongly believe that this program is an important asset to our students' education as we continue to go through challenging times.
