For families looking for a way to park their vehicle and then walk their child to the front of the school campus, you can use the Kapiolani Park lot past the Waikīkī Shell. It takes between 3 - 6 minutes to walk to Waikīkī School from this location.

Please note that you can only enter and exit this lot using Monsarrat Avenue. Monsarrat Avenue south of Paki Avenue is ONE-WAY heading north. Cars cannot drive to this parking lot heading south (towards the ocean). One way to access this lot is to drive south on Kapahulu Avenue, turn left onto Kalakaua Avenue, and then left onto Monsarrat Avenue.

During the morning drop-off, parents escorting their children on campus will have to release their child at the barrier located near the cafeteria doors fronting the parking lot. The campus is still considered restricted at this time.

During the afternoon pick-up, for parents walking to this location, please bring your placard to assist with getting your child.

For families walking their children in the morning using Monsarrat Avenue fronting the Kindergarten playground, you will have to release your child at the barrier near the bicycle racks.

For families walking their children in the morning from the Puulei Circle area along Leahi Avenue, please walk along the outside school perimeter until you get to the front lot location between 7:15 - 7:45 am.

From 7:45 am, for families walking their children using Leahi Avenue from the Puulei Circle area, you will have to release your child at the gate fronting the Mindful Learning Center.

Afterschool pick-up will have to occur in the front lot for parents walking from the Puulei Circle area.

Starting from August 3rd, for families living in Kapahulu, or for families driving in from all parts of the island, Waikīkī School will have a supervised "Walking School Bus" from the hours of 7:15 to 7:30 am. Families walking from the surrounding neighborhood can meet on the Paki Park side of Leahi Avenue near Lakimau Street. Cars can also drop off their children in the same location between 7:15 and 7:30 am. The "Walking School Bus" will promptly depart at 7:30 am. Travel time to Waikīkī School will be between 6 and 10 minutes.

Use of this drop-off area for vehicles will start at 7:15 am for students wanting free breakfast. Cars attempting to drop off students prior to this time will be asked to leave. The only exception is for students enrolled in Early Morning Care. Any students coming to campus between 7:15 and 7:35 (Kindergarten) and 7:45 (Grades 1-5) will be directed to the cafeteria for breakfast. Please do not drop off your child prior to 7:35 (Kindergarten) or 7:35 (Grades 1-5) unless they plan on eating school breakfast. Entryway to the front lot is located on Leahi Avenue.

All cars for drop-off and pick-up will have to exit onto Monsarrat Avenue by turning RIGHT.

If walking is not an option, please place the placard on your vehicleʻs dash to help with the identification of your child. Prior to getting the school-made placards, please make your own visible sign with your childʻs name and grade level.

Kindergarten Students: Parents can pick-up Kindergarten students who DO NOT have older siblings in the Front Parking Lot starting at 1:55 pm.

1st - 2nd Grade Students: Parents can pick-up their Grades 1-2 students and students with siblings in the Front Parking Lot starting at 2:15 pm.

This lot will open at 7:45 am for students in Grades 3-5 drop-off at 7:45 am. Do not attempt to enter this zone by either turning left from Monsarrat Avenue or driving straight across on Leahi Avenue from the Kapahulu neighborhood. Please enter this area by turning left onto Paki Avenue from Monsarrat Avenue. Proceed to drive down Paki and then turn left onto Noela Street and then another left onto Leahi Avenue. This will allow cars to turn right into the Leahi Avenue drop-off and pick-up areas.
