We had 304 Students with PERFECT ATTENDANCE during the 1st quarter of school! Those students will be coming home with a free kids meal from Texas Roadhouse!

*Some have been passed out - We are still working on the others*

The winning house for the 1st Quarter was .... AMISTAD

The students from this house will get to celebrate with a house popsicle party next week!

Our First House Rally will be Nov. 2nd (Grades 3-5) and Nov. 3rd (Grades K-2). On these days students will go all out in house colors and we will have a gathering where they will have friendly competitions between the houses!

We have 2 amazing students representing Scott Elementary and making their voices heard as campus representatives! This week they attended a meeting with the Superintendent alongside other campus representatives!

Registration is now open for 2023-24 Scott Elementary Science Fair! Last year was a HUGE success with Scott Elementary taking two of the top spots at the district finals!

We can't wait to see what our kids bring forward this year.

Remember, all students grade K-5 are welcome to participate. Grades K-2 will be competing in one category and grades 3-5 will be in another.

We absolutely love having parents on our campus as much as possible! I have attached our Volunteer Sign up Google Sheet below. There are 3 ways you can regularly volunteer:

• Morning Car Duty Drop-off
• Lunch Help
• Instructional prep/Grade level volunteers

Please add your name to the sheet where you can volunteer! Your child will love seeing you on campus! If you have any questions please reach out to Dr. Bailey at baileym@rcisd.org!

Students will have the opportunity to earn SHINE slips again this year! When they earn them the student will go on a bingo board. When that BINGO has 15 in a row those students will earn a prize and the BINGO board will start over. So - the more SHINE slips you earn the better your chances!
