20 Valentine’s Day Books We Love for Kids. To help you celebrate this Valentine’s Day with your little ones, we’ve rounded up a list of 20 books that will create fun and love-filled memories.

Small Towns, Big Read

Join us for a Kickoff Celebration for the Small Towns, Big Read program on Thursday, February 16 at 6:00 PM! There will be refreshments, prizes, copies of the book in various formats available for checkout, and a preview of the upcoming events. Sign up online or by calling 518-399-8174.


Small Towns, Big Reads is a Community Reading Program designed to bring together the residents of Ballston and Charlton through a shared reading selection.


In conjunction with the reading selection are engaging discussion groups, related activities designed to complement the themes and content in the book, culminating with a Zoom author discussion.


Small Towns, Big Read is generously co-sponsored by the Friends of the Town of Ballston Community Library

Stop by the Children's Room in the library and read to Seamus the Dog! Bring your own book or read one of the library's many books! No registration necessary, just drop in and read to our furry friend.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Friends of the Library need volunteers to help set up, run and then taken down Library Mini Golf. This awesome event runs with the help of many community volunteers and local businesses. Young volunteers are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Sign up online.

Library Mini Golf

The Friends of the Library Mini Golf Fundraiser returns this year! Golfers of all ages, from the very young to the very experienced, are invited to join us as we roll out a full indoor miniature golf course.


Open Golf Hours:

Friday, February 24 9AM - 5PM

Saturday, February 25 9AM - 1 PM


Cost:

$3 for 9 Holes

$5 for 18 Holes
