PANTHER POWER STUDENT LEADERS HEAD DOWNTOWN
The Panther Power Student Leadership Team recently walked downtown to spread some kindness rocks all around the grounds of Ayer Town Hall. We hope that visitors and passers-by will enjoy looking at the rocks and reading the inspirational messages. Town Administrator Robert Pontbriand visited with the students and thanked them for their community service. The students then walked across the street to the Cottage Restaurant for a nice dinner. Thanks to Cottage owner Morris Babcock.
Channel 5 Wake-Up Call
On Thursday, June 8th you may have seen some of our students while watching the morning news on WCVB Channel 5. Our 5th-grade students were featured on the morning Wake-Up call at 5:10 am and 6:10 am. If you missed it, check it out below.
PAGE HILLTOP "PROUD TO BE ME" DAY
Page Hilltop students and staff recently celebrated "Page Hilltop Pride Day" as they came to school dressed in special attire that showed something they are proud of (family culture/ethnic background, sports teams, hobbies, talents, attributes, being SPECIAL in any way!!
PORTFOLIO/CELEBRATION NIGHT
GOTR - 5K at POLAR PARK
The rain stopped and the sun came out (a little) for an amazing event as the PH Girls-on-the-Run team participated in a celebratory 5K road race! We are so proud of all the girls who have been attending this wonderful program and all the staff members who became their coaches.
CAR WASH
HOLIDAY PARADE
There is a local community group that is planning a weekend of "Pre-July 4th" events including a parade on Saturday, June 24th at 12:30. Page Hilltop is planning to have a float in the parade and all PH families are welcome to join us. We have some of our school community groups (Panther Power student leaders, Girls Scouts, etc.) who will be participating. We also welcome any and all students, from all grades, who would like to join in.
We have a donated trailer which we will be decorating for our float.
We will be decorating the float on Friday, June 23rd, beginning at 9:00am. The "decorating crew" is voluntary.
If students are unavailable for decorating, they may plan to join us for the parade on Saturday. We will meet at the St. Mary's parking lot between 11:30 - 12:00 on Saturday.
The parade route is approx. 1 mile. Students will be able to walk and / or ride during the parade.
We also invite students to decorate their own bikes and ride them alongside our float in the parade.
Parents are welcome to help with the decorating as well as marching in the parade.
PAGE HILLTOP PTO FAMILY FUNFEST
The PTO is organizing one last fun-filled school community gathering. What better way to spend the evening before the last day of school than celebrating a great year with other Page Hilltop families in a relaxed, festive setting! The End of Year Celebration will be on Tuesday, June 20th from 5:30-8:00. Bring chairs/blankets for a community picnic dinner and stay after you eat for some fun and games. There will be a dunk tank, yard games, music, and more!
