We can't wait to see you at the Rush Fall Festival! The Fall Festival will be held on Friday, October 13th from 4-7 pm. The Fall Festival will be held on the playground area on the northeast side of campus (near the gym and tennis courts). We will have a variety of bouncers and carnival games set up on the playground. There will also be face painting and a cake walk in the gym. Now We Taco'n, Hanks Chicken and the Soda Shack food trucks will be there too!

Kids are welcome to wear costumes to the Fall Festival!

Every individual who will be participating in the Fall Festival events (jumping on the bouncers, playing carnival games, etc.) will need to purchase a wristband. Parents do not need to purchase a wristband to accompany their child to the Fall Festival.

The Rush PTA will be pre-selling wristbands the week before the fall festival. Bracelet presale - order forms going home in Wednesday folders on October 4. Please return to teachers by Monday, October 9 with exact cash included. Bracelets will be sent home October 13th (the day of the Fall Festival).

Wristbands can also be purchased the day of the Fall Festival. There will be a wristband sales table available the afternoon of the Fall Festival. The sales table will be located under the blue awnings on the blacktop area of the playground. Cash and credit cards can be used to purchase wristbands.

Wristbands are $10. The wristband itself will allow kids of all ages to access the bouncers, carnival games, basketball toss, etc. Each wristband also comes with 10 tear-off tabs. There are some events at the fall festival that cost one tab. Those events include the cake walk, foam party, Velcro wall and face painting. Children wishing to participate in those events just need to tear one tab off of their wristband to "pay" for the event.

Be sure to stop by to meet Pongo and Sidney! Everyone is welcome to come by and look at these adorable kangaroos in their enclosures. Where else can you see kangaroos in Lubbock, TX?

RIngtail Ranch is offering two awesome up close and personal interactions with these marvelous marsupials!! There is an additional cost for these interactions. This will cost individuals $5 per person to hold Sidney the baby kangaroo in his pouch. Interested in petting Pongo the two year old kangaroo? That experience is $10 for up to four people to go into the enclosure and pet Pongo.

Please bring cash if you want to participate in one of these kangaroo interactions. Ringtail Ranch does not accept the wristband tabs.

Don't want to cook? Have dinner at the fall festival! Food truck from Now We Taco'N, Hanks Chicken, and the Soda Shack will be parked on Toledo near the tennis courts. Please bring cash/credit cards for these food options as they don't accept our fall festival wristband tabs.

Popsicles and water will be available at the ticket sales table or either one tab or one dollar.

Bigfoot Foam Parties will be there from 4:30-6:30. We are excited to have a foam party at the Fall Festival! Foam parties are a lot of fun, but it is possible that your kiddo will get a little damp from the foam. Please plan to being a towel and/or sweatshirt for them for after the foam party.

There will be face painting and a cake walk in the gym - please come by to take a chance at winning an awesome dessert!

The restrooms in the gym will be available during the Fall Festival.

We need your help with the cake walk. In order to make this event happen, we need baked goods (cakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc.)! We would greatly appreciated donations of homemade or store-bought baked good.

We are also accepting donations of individually-wrapped candy to be used as carnival game prizes.

You can drop off your donations in Room 203 on the morning of the Fall Festival (October 13) OR drop them off in the gym that afternoon.

The PTA would love your help building themed baskets for our raffle drawing. We are asking families to please donate a fun item within their grade(s) assigned theme(s) and we will build the raffle baskets. Raffle tickets will be on sale at Fall Festival.

Please drop off donated items with homeroom teachers by Monday, October 9th.
