Something Very Fishy @ Artisphere Greenville
What does programing robots to draw pictures, painting a mural by paint-by-numbers, making musical instruments from wood, ribbons, bells, and holding a live spider crab have in common? They were all part of the Clemson Tent at Artisphere Greenville. Our Something Very Fishy STEAM Team provided an up close encounter with sea urchins, crabs, and sea squirts while showcasing how our oceans are changing due to global warming. Children of all ages took a virtual reality dive to Alligator Reef in the Florida Keys to experience in 360 degrees what it is like to be part of a coral reef community. Our marine science outreach exhibit reached more that 2000 visitors during our three day exhibition.
