The Senior Citizens' annual matinee performance of this year's musical, Les Misérables is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at 2 p.m., in the District Auditorium.

Unfortunately, the District will NOT be able to accommodate the luncheon this year. no cost for senior citizens to attend this performance only.

A big shout out to our Cougar Tech Robotics team, CougarTech competed in the 2022 Finger Lakes Regional competition at RIT’s Gordon Field house last week and over the weekend . Our team won the semis and finals of the Finger Lakes Regional! This is the first competition win for the program. Congratulations Cougar Tech! Take the New York State Learner's Permit written test right here at HFL High School. We will provide you with all the necessary DMV forms and Driver's Manual. Stop by or call the Community Programs Office (624-7068) to schedule your exam.

Matthew was awarded the scouts highest honor- Eagle Scout! He belongs to Honeoye Falls Troop 10. An Eagle Scout applicant must amass ​​21 or more badges, create and complete an Eagle project, write several essays, request five recommendation letters, compile an application binder, and undergo an Eagle board of review before their application is approved at the national level.1 The process typically takes several years, with the most intense and time-consuming aspects coming in the last three to six months.

The Livingston County Board of Supervisors and Youth Bureau recently announced the winners of the 2022 Teen Recognition Awards and we are proud to announce the following Honeoye Falls-Lima Students:

These awards are earned by high school teens who are committed to community improvement, demonstrate leadership, or are role models for others because they have overcome personal challenges. They recognize youth in the community who subtly go about making the world around them a little more special through their actions and attitudes. Since 1995, over 1,800 youth have been recognized. Mary Guldenschuh, Deputy Director of Livingston County Workforce Development and Youth Bureau, stated, “Relationships are the cornerstone of positive youth development. Therefore, these recognition awards are not possible without the support of the nominators. Nominators come from a variety of places, including schools, churches, neighborhoods, civic organizations, and clubs.” A “Black and White”-themed banquet is planned for Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the Willow Creek Venue in Lakeville
