Recognition Ceremonies

The end of the school year draws near! Soon, we will begin to recognize our students. As a Leader in Me school, it is our goal to acknowledge all the ways in which our students are successful. This means that when you attend your child’s grade level recognition ceremony, you may see students recognized for achievements outside the classroom. It is our hope that by recognizing students in the areas in which they are most successful, we’re also acknowledging their leadership abilities! Please join us as we recognize the achievement of your child at the ceremonies listed below.


Kindergarten: May 25th 6:30pm -7:30pm


1st Grade: May 30th 12:30-1:10


2nd Grade: May 30th 8:30am - 9:30am


3rd Grade: May 25th 12:45pm - 1:15pm


4th Grade: May 30th 12:30pm - 1:30pm


5th Grade: May 23rd 6:30pm - 7:30pm


Montessori Bridging Ceremony: May 24th 6:30 - 7:30

ASAP

Our after school program, ASAP, is accepting applications for the 2017-2018 school year.

Rates have increased slightly as a result of increased staffing.


If you are interested in your child attending ASAP next year, please pick up an application in the front office. There is a $30 non-refundable registration fee.

Summer Reading Information


There are lots of summer reading opportunities in which your child can participate this summer! Evidence from on of the opportunities below is due when return to school by August 31st. Each student participating will receive an invitation to an afternoon of popcorn and a movie on Thursday, September 7th.

Please Save The Date, June 1st (last day of school). Mrs. Haltiwanger would love to meet you from 5 - 7pm at the Sandhills Branch to sign up for the Summer Learning Challenge! They are offering some great prizes! The Sandhills Branch is located behind the Village at Sandhills in the R2I2 building.

You can sign up for the Richland Library Summer Learning Challenge along with your child, and explore your own interests!



  • READO! If you enjoy BINGO, then you'll love READO! Another opportunity you can look forward to this summer is a fun game of READO! Mrs. Haltiwanger will send home directions for this game along with a READO board.
