2022/23 Alberta Education Assurance (AEA) Survey

If you have a child in grade 7 or 10, you have received a survey from Alberta Education through the mail. Please watch for this.

The AEA Parent survey has been extended a second time now to March 24th. The extension applies to student, teacher and parent surveys.

Recruitment for Alberta Education’s 2023/24 Minister’s Youth Council began Feb.15, 2023. The ministry is looking for approximately 40 junior and senior high school students between the ages of 14 and 19, who represent diverse interests, identities, backgrounds, and perspectives, to join next year’s council. Participation will allow students to build their leadership skills and leave a legacy that will last for generations. The deadline for students to apply is March 24, 2023.

The EICS Board of Trustees approved the 2023/24 school year calendars at the February Board meeting. Both Camrose school calendars are attached below.

SILC is offering a variety of courses through online synchronous, asynchronous and live in-person learning options this summer.

Courses include: CALM, Philosophy, PE, Math Prep, Math 10C, 10-3, 20-1, 20-2, Science 10, Social 10-1/ 20-1/30-1 Bio 20/30, Chem 20/30 Physics 20/30, ELA 20-1/20-2/30-1 and 30-2.

Be sure to register early to ensure a spot.
