My Mantra: Diversity Always in ALL Ways

My Goal: to provide a safe, nurturing, and flexible learning environment where students feel seen, heard, valued and celebrated. Whoever enters through my doors, hopefully, feels that the library belongs to them and they are free to COLLABORATE, INNOVATE, and ESCAPE.

Prior to becoming a teacher-librarian of 10 years, I taught 8th grade Language Arts for 9 years. I am the proud graduate of The University of North Texas with a degree in Education and Texas Woman's University with a Master's in Library Science. Most importantly, I am a wife and the mother of two boys who I affectionately call #teamhavingfun.
