This week is National School Counselors Week and we here at East Fallowfield are blessed with the best. Ms. Stover is such an important part of our school family, supporting our students and staff throughout the year. She is always hard at work behind the scenes providing supports to our families and we are so fortunate to have her! If you can, take a second out of your day to send Ms. Stover a note of thanks for all that she does for our school and community.

Congratulations to our East Fallowfield scientists who participated in our District Science Showcase. Our students represented our school so well and are ready to move on to the County Science Fair.

We hope that everyone will join us in celebrating our love for reading in the month of February.

It's hard to believe that we are almost to our 100th Day of School. The 100th Day of School is an exciting day for elementary students and teachers. In years past we have had whole school celebrations or themed days. This year, students will have 100th Day of School activities in their classrooms. We will be having a school wide celebration on the 101st Day of School this year. Please see the flyer below for more details!

The February PTO Meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 6th at 7:00 pm via Zoom.

Spirit Wear order forms went home last week. The form is two-sided because this year, there are 2 logos to choose from. All orders are due next week Wednesday, February 14th. Orders will be sent home with students on Monday, February 26th.

Our next pretzel delivery date will be Friday, February 23, 2024.

The American Red Cross provides and installs smoke detectors in any CASD students’ homes where they are needed and instructs their families on their use and maintenance. This is done free of charge.

If you do not have a smoke detector(s) or one(s) that don’t work, the Red Cross can schedule a time to visit your home and install new devices. Simply call the Red Cross at 1-800-Red Cross or visit the Red Cross website.

Chromebooks

• Please be sure to send your child back to school with their district-issued Chromebook and charger if they took it home for the summer.
• If your child turned in their Chromebook at the end of the year, they will be distributed within the first few days of school.
• If your child is in kindergarten or new to the district, laptops will be distributed within the first weeks of school.
• Technology Insurance Fees (TIF) can be made via RevTrak on the school district’s website: https://coatesvillearea.revtrak.net/casd-technology/.
• Should you have any technology concerns please contact our Technology Department at ithelpdesk@casdschools.org.

The district is continuing our contract with A Child’s Place as our before and after care provider. Please see the attached flyer below for information about rates and how to enroll your child. We are happy to announce that we will have both before and after care at East Fallowfield this year!
