Counselor Update
Hello Caregivers,
I wanted to share with you two cool events that are coming up!
This Friday, October 30, 2020 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM Moorhead Community Resource Center, which is a brand new facility that is here to assist all families within the Warren Community, even if they do not have children that attend Warren Township Schools, is having a safe Trunk or Treat and Food Distribution. Please know that it is on a first come first serve so early arrival is suggested. Their address is 8400 East 10th Street.
Secondly, we have received a gracious donation of coats from The Salvation Army, from their Coats For Kids Program! We will be distributing these coats to our learners on a first come first serve basis. If you would like for your child to receive a coat then please reach out to me as soon as possible no later than Friday, November 6th, 2020 via email at kjones11@warren.k12.in.us or phone at (317)532-3150 Ext: 3178. If I am away from my desk please leave a voicemail.
Cooper. ¡Gracias!

November 3 - eLearning Day
On Tuesday, November 3rd, Warren Township will have a planned eLearning Day for our students across the district. On this day, your student will complete teacher designed extended learning activities at home.
In preparation for this eLearning Day, here is some general information for our families in advance.
Kindergarten through 2nd grade students will bring home their extended learning activities (hands-on, paper-based) on Friday, Oct. 30 for use on Tuesday, Nov. 3rd.
3rd and 4th grade students will bring home their fully-charged iPads on Monday, Nov. 2 to be used on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Students will not bring home chargers. All devices must come back to school on Wednesday, Nov. 4. 3rd and 4th grade students will receive their eLearning activities on CANVAS from their teachers.
Our FULLY VIRTUAL students will receive their extended learning activities on CANVAS from their teachers.
I DO NOT HAVE INTERNET AT MY HOUSE, HOW DO I PARTICIPATE? Internet hotspots are available for 3rd and 4th grade families will need support ensuring their students can log in to their student’s CANVAS. If you would like to check out a hotspot, please give us a call by Oct. 30.
WILL MY TEACHER BE ABLE TO HELP ME IF I GET STUCK? All teachers will be available to support our students and families from 9am - 12pm on that day. A communication will be shared with you from your student’s teacher with how you can reach them during those hours on that day.
