April Calendar
The last week of March is on the top of the April calendar. That is the week of Spring Break, so there is no school March 27th - 31st.

Will you have a student in Kindergarten or Young 5s next year?
It's already time to think about next school year. If you have a new student who will be in Kindergarten or Young 5s, next year it's time to get them signed up. If your student was in Young 5s at Central this school year, then you do not need to do this. After April 1st, we will be ready for you to start the paperwork. Use the link below after April 1st to get your child signed up for next school year.

Hungry Howies Fundraiser
Thank you to everyone who ordered pizza in March, and a special thank you to the families from Mrs. Wain's class. They had the most orders and are the winner of the pizza party this month. So far we have earned $2149.49, WOW!!!
Our next Hungry Howies day is Monday, April 17th.
Miss Holly
Miss Holly is a Special Ed paraprofessional and has been working here for almost six years. She works in multiple classrooms and first grade lunch. She has two kids who are 13 and 11. She also loves her two cats and can be seen showing them off to everyone. Reading is her favorite thing to do when not at school.
Mrs. Dennis
This is Mrs. Dennis’s second year as a Special Education paraprofessional at Parchment Central Elementary. Previous to that, she helped with lunch and recess and was a stay at home mom for several years. She has a son in 5th grade at North and a daughter in 2nd grade here at Central. She loves spending time with her family, watching her kids play sports, running the Parchment youth wrestling program, visiting new places and snuggling her 2 year old golden retriever, Ellie.
Ms. Nikki
Ms. Nikki has been a Special Ed paraprofessional for 4 years. She loves working with the kids in class and at lunch, she enjoys watching them grow. Nikki has a 15 year old daughter and enjoys cheering her on at her games and cheerleading meets. Nikki loves to read and is proud to be a Panther!
Ms. Kaylee
This is Ms. Kaylee's 2nd year at Central Elementary. She has worked in multiple classrooms and helped many different students. Ms. Kaylee has 2 children of her own who attend Central, one in 2nd grade and one in 3rd grade. When she's not working at Central, she also works as a pediatric ultrasound technician. Her favorite hobbies include watching her kids sporting events, rock hunting along the great lakes with her family, and sleeping.
Ms. Melissa
Ms. Melissa is a Special Ed paraprofessional. She has worked at Central for many years. She loves helping kids and everyday is unique. Ms. Melissa has been married for 28 years and has a 25 year old son who attends WMU. Her son is a radio DJ! Check out his show every Thursday from 5:00-7:00 PM on 89.1 WIDR. When she isn't at school, Ms. Melissa loves going to concerts and plays with her family and friends.
Ms. Jepkema
Ms. Jepkema, also known as Ms. J, has been a Special Education paraprofessional at Central for 4 years now. She is currently working on finishing up her degree in Social Work, and plans to work in the school setting once she finishes. Ms. Jepkema has 3 kids: 2 boys who attend North Elementary, and 1 daughter at Central. She enjoys watching her kids play sports, spending time with family, and traveling.
Miss Meeghan
This is Miss Meeghan's second year working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Parchment! She graduated with her Bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University, and her Master's degree from Wayne State University. Miss Meeghan works at three buildings with the 3-6 year old early childhood population, including HeadStart, GSRP, ECSE, Developmental Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and walk-in speech students. Outside of work, she loves to see family and friends, read books, and try baking new recipes!
Mrs. Harrington
Mrs. Harrington is one of Central's friendly neighborhood speech-language pathologists (SLP). She works with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels to help better their speech, language, and/or communication skills. This is her 4th year at Parchment and 8th year as an SLP. When she's not defeating a student at a game of Uno or asking them to get their tongue out for their "th" sound, she can be found hanging out with her two rescue dogs June and Jade, and her hubby Mr. Harrington. You can also find her reading fantasy novels, watching broadway musicals, playing board games, and hiking. She loves testing out new board games to see if they could be a good way to help her students work on their goals. Mrs. Harrington is always thinking of fun and creative ways to help her students have fun and enjoy coming to sessions.
