We have many parent opportunities for you to engage in during American Education Week!

We are excited to host our first HABITS AND HASHBROWNS opportunity for parents on November 13 at 7:30am. Please make plans to attend! As a Leader in Me school, we are proudly creating a culture of greatness. Training our parent and family community in the 7 Habits of Successful Families will provide practical tools to help parents and families implement the principles and practices of the 7 Habits into their home cultures. Connecting home and school cultures will strengthen students, families, and your school and community.

As each child discovers and develops his or her unique gifts and talents at our school through Covey Clubs and Habit Huddle, they are given opportunities to lead. As leaders, they become active, engaged partners in their own education and their self-confidence, responsibility, and initiative grows. The children quickly understand the benefits of different gifts and talents; they learn to listen to new ideas, work together to achieve results, and motivate one another to be the best.

Parents, in an effort to limit classroom disruptions, please leave lunch boxes, book bags, snacks, etc. at the front desk. If you want to observe your child's class, please sign in at the lobby kiosk and fill out a district classroom visit form. You will be escorted to the class by one of our school administrators . The district does ask that you limit your visit to 30 minutes so that there is minimal disruption for the class. Thank You

The music fundraiser deadline has been extended to Monday, November 5th! Please return any order forms and money in the white fundraiser envelope to Ms. Rayner by Monday. Or you can register your child for online sales:

• Visit pleasehelpmyschool.com and click "Seller Registration"
• Enter the School ID PONTIAC and click next
• Student will now receive a unique SELLER ID to give to friends and family. (Be sure to copy the ID number you are given). Enter email addresses of prospective customers and an auto message giving instructions will be sent. Customers order and pay online and they can choose to have items either delivered to their home or to Pontiac
