Greetings, Davis Families,

There are so many great things happening at Davis!

Our students have completed the ELA, Math, & Science PSSAs for 2023! We are incredibly proud of our Davis Dolphins and all of their hard work on the assessments.

Shoutout to Mrs. Foran! The Centennial Fine Arts Showcase Night took place on Friday evening at WTHS. The artwork on display created by our very own Davis students was amazing! It was wonderful to see so many of you there. (Please see the pictures below.)

We have less than one month left this school year--time has flown by!

MORNING ARRIVAL REMINDERS

The car rider doors will close promptly at 8:45 am. If your student arrives late to school, they must be escorted into the building. ONCE THE DOORS ARE CLOSED, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR STUDENT UNATTENDED. Please park in the visitor's lot and walk him or her into the school building.

Please DO NOT park in front of the school building, as the school buses are unloading in that area. Thank you in advance for your support. Student safety is our top priority.

Let's begin our mornings together with a positive message every day!

We had a lot of fun making passports and completing a notice and wonder menu for each book. One student noticed that Patricia Polacco was the author of other books that we have read before. He noticed that she looked much older on the cover of The Keeping Quilt than in Thank You, Mr. Falker. I loved that they knew her style as an author. We enjoyed Grandfather's tea and Grandma Anna's sugar cookies. We can't wait to learn about their journeys to America!

Effective June 1st the Food and Nutrition Department will be upgrading their software to School Café for on-line payments and purchases. PayK12 will no longer be our platform for online deposit for student food service accounts. Flyers will be sent home this week in the Wednesday Express envelopes and information is available on the district website.
