Marching Band senior night will occur on Friday, October 06, 2023. During this night, all senior members of the marching band will be recognized.

Please read through this informational document to learn more about the evening.

Seniors are asked to complete this google form by Monday, September 25. This form identifies who will be accompanying them on the field during senior night.

This year, our senior football/cheer/band members will be recognizing one mentor during the football game on Friday, September 29.

This is a NEW event this year! In August, senior band members selected one mentor they would like to recognize.

The teachers will then be recognized on the scoreboard throughout the game on September 29! More information will continue to be shared as the date approaches. All seniors must complete this google form by Wednesday, September 20.

We are excited to start this new tradition!

Please note: senior headshots are not available for purchase. Individual photos of every student will be taken in the spring.

Please see the document below for a listing of all concert dates for instrumental ensembles for the 2023 - 2024 school year. Hard copies will also be distributed to all students.

2023 - 2024 Concert Dates

Uniform contracts and fees were due by Friday, August 25th!

Please place all shoe order forms and payments in the gray lock box in the band room.

As a reminder, all uniform items should be removed from the garment bag during the week to air out.

• Wash the sweat collar after EVERY performance with a mild detergent. AIR DRY.
• The jacket & pants are DRY CLEAN ONLY. DO NOT IRON OR PLACE IN WASHING MACHINE.
• Shoes should be cleaned after EVERY performance
• Gloves can be washed and hung out to dry.

Have repairs? Contact the uniform coordinators at uniforms@eahsmusic.org. DO NOT ATTEMPT ANY REPAIRS AT HOME!

The 2023 marching band schedule is linked here. This includes every event from band camp through the end of season.

School has started and fall is coming, so you know what that means - time to get your band jackets! The sale will run September 5 - 22. You can place orders using the attached form or online at https://eahsmusic.org. Please note that this year's sale will be for the red student jackets only, the black pullovers will be offered online during our fall sportswear sale.

• If you are ordering multiple jackets please use a separate form for each jacket (one check for the total is fine).
• Please submit in a clearly marked envelope titled “Jacket Order” on the front.
• Make checks payable to IMA.

All orders are due no later than September 22, 2023

Our 49th annual First Flag Band Festival is approaching on Saturday, September 30! This event brings together nearly 3,000 people.

In order to make this event a success, we need MANY PEOPLE'S HELP. Please see below if you are willing to donate goods or volunteer your time.

The next contribution is due on September 30 in the amount of $375.

There are two options to make this contribution:

The IMA held a trip updates meeting on Tuesday, September 12. To view the presentation shared that evening, please click on this link.

There will be a final mandatory trip meeting on Tuesday, November 14 @ 7:00PM for both students & parents/guardians.

Within the next two weeks, several forms for the FL trip will be distributed to students. These forms will be made available in both digital and physical copies. Forms include:

1. Overnight Field Trip Form - one per student
2. Medical Form - one per student if not completed already
3. Medical Administration Form - one per MEDICATION PRESCRIBED BY A DOCTOR. Please note: this form requires a doctor's signature
4. IMA Nurse Consent Form - one per student if prescription medication is taken

All forms will be due: Tuesday, November 14.

Our students will begin signing up for rooms, buses, & flights this week. Please note that each list is separate from one another.

• When signing up for a room, only ONE student per room should submit the form
• When signing up for flights & buses, EVERY student should sign up using the sign up genius

Rooming lists will come out first, followed by bus & plane lists.

The IMA is seeking business sponsors to help support our students! This is a NEW extension of our program and we are looking forward to the opportunity to give more to our students!

Corporate sponsorship of the IMA is integral to the financial well-being of our operating budget supporting the many opportunities afforded our students. The IMA supports over $80,000 in annual expenses, including annual scholarships, marching band operating expenses, uniform care, new instrument/ equipment purchases, maintenance costs, travel opportunities, and more.

As a corporate sponsor of the IMA, there are many benefits your organization would receive, in addition to supporting our students. We hope you consider supporting our wonderful music program. Our students work incredibly hard each year and we hope to be able to continue to support their needs through generous donations such as yours.

How it works

1. Ask local businesses to support our program by directing them to our website OR handing them this letter!
2. Businesses will complete the form at the bottom of this page.
3. Upon completion, businesses will receive email confirmation.
4. They will be contacted by our business sponsor chairperson for details re: specifics pertaining to your sponsorship level (advertisement design, etc.). Artwork requirements

WHAT IS IT?
Participants can buy gift cards at face value. There is a percentage listed that you earn for every purchase. Gift cards are either instant download and/ or physical gift cards. You can then spend the gift cards as you would normally, knowing you helped fundraise!

HOW IT WORKS:

The Easton Area High School (EAHS) Instrumental Music Program has a long history of success. The program consists of nearly 380 students in grades 9 – 12 and encompasses marching band, three concert bands, three orchestras, two jazz ensembles, pep band, and pit orchestra.
