Congrats to our Percussion drumline for earning 3rd place at PDLC!
Note from Ben Koch:
Dr. Davis and I are super proud of the professionalism, maturity, and performance that was put on display between both the parent preview and PDLC. We both felt like the kids hit an absolute home run, one heck of a way to put Conquest to rest.
Battery has a gig Tuesday October 3rd at Kings Ridge. It’s the same national night out parade we did last year. We’ll leave from rehearsal and return after it’s done- but we will need some help transporting kids and drums. Attire is summer uniform.
Battery is not playing on court at the HOCO pep rally this week as far as I know. I’ll keep the kids informed if that changes.

IMPORTANT Grand National Championships UPDATE!
Grand National Championships Information UPDATE - week of September 24th
We know you are getting excited as we get closer to our planned trip to Indianapolis, so we wanted to pass along the latest updates and information.
Students traveling to Indy were given instructions on how to sign up for a room with their roommates last week and that should be completed. If you have questions about that process, please contact Jessica Gonzalez at chaperones@hebronband.org.
According to the Music Travel payment schedule, you should have paid $975.00 into your account as of today. Remember these payments are made directly to Music Travel, and NOT the Booster Club. Make sure to log into your Music Travel Account to verify you are on track. Keep in mind that payments to Music Travel apply ONLY to the trip in November and are separate from the band fees that the Booster Club collects through Presto.
Also per the established schedule, your trip must be paid in full by October 18th. Double-check your account balance today and make sure you are on track with your payments. Your account with Music Travel must be settled before we depart, or they will not allow your student to board the bus. Contact Music Travel at support@musictravel.com if you have questions regarding your account or balance.
We hope you all are looking forward to this trip as much as we are. We know that everyone has been working hard on the show and we look forward to the competition.

LISD Bond & VATRE Information
The Hebron Band Booster Club would like to let our parents know that the LISD Board of Trustees has voted to call for a $1.23B bond election and a voter-approved tax rate ratification election (VATRE). Both proposals will be up for voter approval on November 7th.
Registered voters residing within Lewisville ISD boundaries will be asked to consider a total of seven propositions that would generate additional funding to support educational programs and conduct maintenance, repairs and renovations across the district. If voters approve all six bond propositions (totaling $1.23B) and the VATRE, the total tax rate will be 10.6 cents lower than last year’s tax rate, a double-digit decrease in the total rate.
Learn more about the LISD bond package & VATRE at www.lisdbond.com
Important dates to remember:
October 10th - Deadline to Register to Vote - click here to register to vote.
October 23rd - Early voting begins

Donate to our Scholarship Assistance Fund
In addition to our normal fundraising activities this year that cover the general operating costs of the band, we have additional funds needed for 54 students in our band family in order to help get these students to Grand Nats. We realize that many of you have given so much already, but if you are able, we ask that you donate to our directed Student Scholarship Assistance Fund. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
You can scan the QR code above or go to https://paybee.io/@hebronband@80. We are ⅓ of the way there to meeting the financial need of these band students. Thank you for your generosity. #AIATT
Volunteer Lead Needs
Hey Band, We are looking for volunteers to help us with our Golf Tournament in May. This will be our 4th Annual Golf Tournament and one of the best community events of the year.
WE NEED YOU!!! We need someone who is willing to lead a committee and oversee the details of the event. We have a great template in place for how it has been run in the past so you will not be starting from scratch. If you have a heart for our band, please reach out to fundraising@hebronband.org for more information about being the Golf Tournament Chair or about being on the committee. Reaching out for more information does not commit you to anything!! #AIATTT
