FRIDAY Notice
June 16, 2023
Final Friday
Dear Siskiyou School Families,
The faculty had very productive and connective in-service meetings this week. All the teachers are finishing up now; they will start their summer as of the end of this week.
The admin team is still on campus for most of this month and in July we too will get a summer break.
Please see attached the graduation video. Some parents who were not able to attend the event asked to see the recording. It was a beautiful event and we are proud of the Hummingbird Class!
Last Friday, on our last day of school, we had our last assembly of this school year. We gave a last farewell to the Hummingbird Class and sang last songs together. Towards the end of the assembly, the Siskiyou School alum students from Ashland High School entered Pine Hall in red and white caps and gowns. It was so special to see them again and we gave them a big round of applause and congratulations for graduating from high school. Our traditional Field Day was a great success. Thank you, Ms. James and our parent volunteers for making it so much fun!
Moving Day was an outstanding event! A HUGE THANK YOU to all parents and students who helped us that afternoon. About 40 parents helped. 80 helping hands made light the work and everything we hoped for was accomplished! Events like this show how strong, vibrant and supportive our community is. Thank you, thank you!!!
Please look out for our last Tuesday Notice on Tue, June 27th. We will publish the full events calendar for 2023-24 as well as the entire faculty and staff for next year.

There is nothing more important to me than educating our children and it truly takes a village. With love and light,
~Ms. Whitridge.
