Winter Vacation and Holiday
No school Friday, December 22 through Friday, January 5.
No school Monday, January 15 for MLK Jr/Human Rights Day.
Schoolwide Food & Supply Drive
As a celebration of our December Design Principle, Service and Compassion, the second grade crew is organizing a schoolwide food and supply drive to support Moscow's West Side Food Pantry. PPCS classes are having a friendly competition to see which grade can collect the most supplies. The class that brings the most supplies wins a hot cocoa party hosted by the 2nd grade. (Alternative drinks will be available.) The drive begins today and lasts until winter break begins - Thursday, 12/21 at 3:00 pm. Please send donations with your student or drop them off after school. Items requested by area food banks are below. Easy open pull tab cans are preferred for canned items.
- Toilet paper
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Small dish soaps
- Boxes of individual laundry pods (pods are divided so more customers can access these expensive items)
- Holiday baking goods: sugar, baking powder, small bags of flour, spices, etc.
- Instant mashed potatoes
- Spaghetti sauce
- Canned fruit
- Peanut butter
- Jelly
- Powdered milk
- Canned tuna or chicken
- Pickles
- Condiments: Mayonnaise, Ketchup, Mustard
*Note: multiple small items are better than one large item so more customers can choose these items.
Lost & Found Clearing Out
Please check the school's Lost and Found. All items will be picked up and donated once the school is on break beginning Thursday 12/21.
Parking Concern
Please be aware that if you park in the cul de sac, you may be ticketed. It has a No Parking sign on the south side and a yellow curb at the hydrant. In addition, large construction vehicles and cement mixers are traveling through the cul de sac. We would hate for anyone's car to be damaged.
