This Week At SHOJ
May 14, 2021
From Mrs. Rhodes
I look at the calendar and just smile! For so many reasons, but mostly because everyone at SHOJ has been incredible this year. The students continue to work hard and learn. There are also many preparations for transitions to the next step. The 8th graders are getting ready to graduate. The 7th graders are wishing them well and preparing to fill big shoes. 5th graders are taking tours of middle school. There is a lot of joy going on these next days.
The teachers and staff have persevered with constant smiles and intense focus. We are blessed with the support of facilities and office staff. Fr. Pat's continued prayers and support, along with the parish, has strengthened us in ways we don't know.
All students in grades 2-8 will attend the 8th grade Graduation Mass on Tuesday. We will be sitting in every pew, three feet apart with our masks on the entire Mass. I think it is important that we celebrate their hard work as a school community. On the last day of school, we will do the same for the K-7th graders. We have missed these all school Masses!
All the students in their "We Are ONE" shirts just reminds me what we can do together.

There have been updates to days in February. Please make sure to mark your calendar.
From Nurse Mary
We have no new positives nor quarantines.
May we continue to stay vigilant and do our part to finish out this school year healthy and safe.
I hope everyone was able to read through the email I sent last week that included important information as we think about finishing up this school year as well as looking forward to the next school year. There is an attachment for JoCo Health Department about the opening of the vaccines for ages 12 and up.
Thank you all so much for the sweet notes, cards, gifts and words for Nurse’s Day! It means so much to me to be a part of such a thoughtful community.
Thank you again for your joint effort in keeping SHOJ a healthy place!
