Bett District Update

Today, Bettendorf & Davenport celebrated a student-focused collaboration between the Davenport West and Bettendorf high school welding departments on the Mississippi River Trail. The Bulldog and Falcon welding departments revealed the bike racks designed and built by students. #BETTerTogether

To ensure safety and a positive experience for all of our students, staff, families, and community members, we will be implementing the following protocols.

• We will not allow any backpacks into the stadium; all small bags and purses are subject to search.
• All elementary-age students must be accompanied by an adult, if they attempt to enter the stadium without an adult they will not be admitted.
• All middle school students will need to sit in the bleachers or be in the area on the hill designated for BMS.

There will be no loitering behind the North bleachers where the home-side concession stand is located. We appreciate your assistance with this to keep traffic flow reasonable behind the bleachers for all spectators. We encourage all BCSD students and families to attend HS athletic and fine arts events and look forward to seeing you all Friday night under the lights. GO BULLDOGS!

Kids Fun Run, 5K Run/Walk and 5 Mile Run

Race Registration

All three options (Kids "Fun" Run, 5K Run/Walk and 5 Mile Run) take place on the morning of Monday, September 4th starting at 7:45 am. All promise to be a great time and raise money for Bettendorf!

Volunteer

Run with Carl could not happen without the help of our volunteers. Packet pick-up on Friday and Saturday before the race or many opportunities on Monday the day of the race from setting up tables/tents to manning water stops along the course. High School students can earn service hours while volunteering.

Orders are due by Sept 10th. For the easiest experience, choose shipping unless you are at the high school. This year's theme is Once Upon a Homecoming and will include all of our favorite fairytale references. Get your Homecoming shirt (or the other Bett merch available) in the store now! If your child will be four years old on or before September 15, we have openings for the 2023-2024 school year. Bettendorf offers Preschool on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:45 am - 2 pm. To apply, click HERE.
