Greetings from the Director
I hope this finds you well and enjoying the summer days that seem to be rushing past us so quickly! You still have some great opportunities to enjoy gathering as a community during the month of August! Night to Unite will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 1 at Central Park starting at 6 p.m. At this event, you will find a school bus we hope to STUFF with SCHOOL SUPPLIES to support our local students in need.
We also have three more concerts in the park upcoming, wrapping up on August 22. This will be a special night brought to you by the North Branch Area Education Foundation. Local favorite band, Next Door Down, will perform. During this event, we will honor the memory of Brett Carlson, former Early Learning & Community Education Director at NBAPS. Brett was a much loved colleague and friend whose life was cut short by cancer in late 2022. Join us for a sweet treat in his memory and enjoy music Brett loved!

Adult Recreation/Enrichment
Salsa and Tomato Products - August 22 / 4:00-7:30pm
Zumba - Starts Sept 6 / 7 pm classes
Zumba is a total body workout, combining all elements of fitness - cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility. This class involves dance and aerobic movements to energetic music such as salsa, merengue and mamba to names a few. We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low and high intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie burning dance fitness party! No experience necessary, just follow Molly's lead, and enjoy the music! Bring a towel, water bottle and wear comfy and supportive shoes with low tread. Walk-in $7/day or purchase a punch card for 10 sessions for $58. Punch cards may be purchased from the Community Ed office.
