Out of hours send an email to covid@mf.starmat.uk (stating student’s full name and class, contact phone number, date and time of positive Covid test result – please use TEST POSITIVE in the title).

It is VITAL that you let us know as soon as you possibly can so that we can implement contingency planning.

Thank you for adhering to our ongoing Covid-19 prevention measures, it is important that we all remember to keep to our rules. Please always remember to wash hands and belongings regularly, maintain social distance and (adults) wear a mask. Please also leave enough room for children in other bubbles to pass.

If anyone in your family shows symptoms, the whole family must isolate until a negative test result is obtained.

Don’t forget that our school has registered with the Covid Symptom Study to help monitor the spread of the virus. If you would like to participate, you will need to register with the code AFXPPKY. As you know, we are unable to show visitors around our school at the moment. We know that families are looking for schools for children starting in September 2021 and so we have put a short video tour on our website to help show how our school works. If you know a family who might like to apply for a place next year do encourage them to watch the video below, look at the website, or speak to the office.

Thank you to everyone that came along to the Willow nativity performance in church yesterday. The performance was recorded and will be sent out to parents/carers to view.

Thank you to everyone who bought tickets for the FOSS Christmas Raffle. We made an amazing £405. The winning prizes have all been collected. Well done to the winners!

FOSS organised a chocolate tombola for the children in school this week. The children had lots of fun, won some chocolate and spread lots of Christmas cheer. We made £82.60 from the tombola.

The Christmas Cards you all bought made £82, so thank you for ordering them.

The total from all these events made a whopping £569.60. Thank you to everyone for supporting FOSS.

We are delighted to have appointed a new member of our staff team. Mrs Pedley will be supporting children’s learning in Key Stage 2 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from January.

The new Spring Term Lunch Menu for next term is shown below. The Lunch selection for next term has been changed to make lunch choices easier for children.

We ask that you discuss the menu each day with your child so they can decide what they would like for lunch. As from January, if your child starts the week with a school lunch then they will be on school lunches for the whole of that week. If your child starts the week with a packed lunch, they will be on packed lunches for the whole of that week. Children can switch weekly between school lunches and packed lunches but not daily.

We hope this new process will make everything much easier for yourselves and your children.

Please take a minute to complete the form below and let us know which staff go above and beyond! We can then take the time to recognise their efforts and let them know they are doing a great job!!

Please be considerate when parking near the school crossing. If parked too close it can be very difficult to see if it is safe to cross, particularly at pick up time-thank you.
