It's hard to believe that the month of October is on the near horizon! I'm not sure that I'll ever be able to grasp how fast each school year seems to fly by, but it's a good sign that we are all getting into a school routine.
We've been reminding students for the last couple of weeks that our Lost and Found is located in the cafeteria. If your child is missing a jacket or water bottle, remind them to take a look at this clothing rack they all walk by when they go to the cafeteria during lunch.
Next Thursday, we will be celebrating the September and July birthdays during the school day, and a week from this coming Monday, the Edmond Fire Department will be presenting a skit with information that correlates to Fire Prevention Safety Month. The fire prevention skit will take place in the cafeteria right after morning announcements.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be taking place on October 12 and 17 from 4:30 to 8:00 each evening. Your child's teacher will be sending home an email to sign up for a conference on either night.
