Shout Out to Ms. Peggy Lauer of Emmorton Elementary School!
Thank you to Ms. Peggy Lauer, media specialist at Emmorton Elementary School, who opened the doors to the library for students on Wednesdays in July from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. while the Abingdon Public Library was under construction. Students were invited to read and check out books, play games, and use the computers. This was a great opportunity for students to continue to grow as readers and learners over the summer. We thank Ms. Lauer for sharing her passion for her students and her profession!
Shout Out to the Edgewood High School Academy of Finance!
Shout Out to the boys 2 MEN group!
Many thanks to the boys 2 MEN group for working hard at William Paca/Old Post Road Elementary School this summer mulching and cleaning up the gardens! They even volunteered to wash staff members cars during a professional development session. How awesome!
