Principal's Corner

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is hard to believe, but May is here! Thank you for sharing your students with us throughout this school year, and entrusting them to us. We are thankful for the wonderful school year we have had, even in the midst of COVID-19, and appreciate you working with our teachers and staff to ensure the success of our kids.

On May 11th, 12th and 13th, students will be taking the end of year state assessments, STAAR. Third, fourth and fifth grade will test on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday, fifth graders will be taking their science test. Please ensure your students receive a good nights rest, and a healthy breakfast the morning before testing, as well as to make sure they arrive to school on time. We hope to give our kids the best opportunity to show us what they know on these assessments.

We also have several fun activities coming up after STAAR testing. Please see our calendar of events below. We will be sending out further communication as events get closer.
