Dear Hill-Roberts Families,
It was an incredible week for HRES to "show off!" Our fourth graders performed America the Beautiful at the Providence Bruins last Sunday. They met Todd Angilly, the Boston Bruins' National Anthem singer. The students were respectful while they listened to Mr. Angilly solidify all of the learning they've done with Mrs. Torres. On Monday night, seven of the artists working on the new CREST mural in the cafeteria presented to the School Committee. They showed the members exactly what it means to be a Husky! The link to the video is below, along with a photo taken inside the new high school.
My hope is that you enjoy the long weekend and find time to think about the legacy of Dr. King. Perhaps your student has something to share with you from their learning in school.
