Eastside Elementary
November Newsletter 2023
From the Principal
Happy Fall!
Keep tabs on our school website and Facebook page for upcoming learning events for parents and families. Our next Title I night is Thursday, November 16th, from 5:30 to 7:00. This is a great learning opportunity with everything focused on science, technology, engineering, and math. Students will rotate through fun and engaging activities. Dinner will be provided. Students brought home a flyer along with an RSVP sheet. Please send the RSVP back to school with your child.
Below are a few updates for the month of November.
Trimester 1
The end of the first trimester is Friday November 17th! It’s hard to believe we are almost ⅓ of the way through the 2023-2024 school year. We continue to be grateful for the opportunity to learn with our Eastside scholars everyday. Progress Reports will be sent home Friday, December 1st.
Vacation Days
There is no school on Friday, November 10th in observance of Veterans Day. Thanksgiving break starts on Monday, November 20th. Thanksgiving break will be a whole week! School will resume on Monday, November 27th.
Keep SOARing through November!

Free & reduced meals
Families can qualify for free or reduced school meals. Here are the potential costs for school meals for a student who eats lunch and/or breakfast.
We encourage all families to apply at www.linqconnect.com. This can help your family budget, as well as support Eastside's Title I program.
