WELCOME DYER FAMILIES
AUGUST 2022
WELCOME TO THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR!
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year, Dyer families! My name is Ryan Heft, and I am extremely excited to work with you and your students this school year! I was fortunate to receive the opportunity to serve as Interim Principal at Dyer last Spring, and look forward to continuing to serve the Dyer community in the official capacity as Building Principal. I have been an administrator in the Burlington Area School District since 2017, serving first as Dean of Students at Dyer Intermediate School and Karcher Middle School, K-7 summer school Principal, and most recently as Associate Principal at Burlington High School. I’m very proud to be part of a dedicated and high achieving educational community of students, staff, and families. Dyer Elementary and the Burlington Area School District are compassionate to meeting the unique and varying educational and social emotional needs of all students; committed in the belief that all students have the ability to learn, grow, and succeed; and comprehensive in offering equitable access to guaranteed and viable curriculum and programming.
The talented and eager staff at Dyer have been working hard to prepare for the new school year, and we wanted to provide some important information prior to the start of the year.
