Isle La Motte School Building Survey
Welcome Back!
I hope the past week was exactly what everyone needed! I'm excited to see everyone tomorrow!
We have just a few weeks until the Winter Break, and it will surely be a busy few weeks! We have our first Ski and Ride day, a PBIS school-wide incentive, and some other activities planned.
Please remember to send your kiddos with warm weather gear and extra clothes for when it gets wet out.
Enjoy your Sunday afternoon!

Better Support of Our Students
GIS recognizes that all students come to us with different needs, and sometimes these needs are not appropriately supported by current policies and procedures. The safety of all students is the highest priority, so GIS will follow a new protocol to support this.
Health Office Notifications:
Students presenting with pain, upset with an unknown cause, distressed, or otherwise appear different from their usual presentation will be brought to the health office to be seen.
Ms. Elkins or Ms. Barber will notify the student's family and collaboratively decide on a support plan.
Please email me if you have any questions about this addition to the health office protocols.
Thank You,

Ski and Ride Update
We have over 18 students signed up to participate in the ski and ride program and a ton of family support on and off the mountain. I'm feeling full of gratitude! I will send out a consent form from Smuggs this week, be on the lookout!

Isle La Motte School Building Use Survey
Survey
The CIUUSD school board has been soliciting suggestions for what to do with the Isle La Motte Elementary School building since it has not served students in any grades for the last three years. In addition to getting community feedback, they have also asked us to send out this survey to all CIUUSD families to determine if anyone would be interested in sending their students to the Isle La Motte School building if it were to re-open to some span of grade levels. All CIUUSD families, no matter what town they live in or which school they currently attend, are welcome to complete this survey: https://forms.gle/GPb9E58S3MN8QTX1A
