WOW - can you believe how fast the summer went by?!

We are busy here at the Intermediate Center getting everything ready for our incoming 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders! The excitement is brewing as classrooms are being set up, floors are being shined, and learning is being prepared for - LEARNING AND GROWING TOGETHER IS OUR MOTTO!!

This year we have lots of Family Events in the works, starting with our Open House on Tuesday, August 22nd, from 6-7:30. There will be a special presentation regarding attendance in the SIC Café - all parent attendees will receive a chance to win a Gift Card!

Remember that the first day of School is Thursday, August 24th - School hours are from 8:00 am - 2:30 pm - Doors open at 7:30 am for Breakfast - YUM!

Character Traits are individual qualities that make up a person's overall character. Each month at the SIC, we focus on one specific character trait - we learn about it, talk about examples, and try to exhibit this trait while we are at school. At the end of the month, each class chooses a student that truly exhibits that trait and they are acknowledged with an award. Our Character Trait for the month of September is Respectful!

Positive Referrals Celebrate those students that go ABOVE AND BEYOND here at school. Look for students' names here each month to acknowledge their achievements.
