Counselor’s Corner
Where did the first month of 2024 go?! This past month I visited with current 6th and 7th graders to discuss courses for next year. Course selection papers were sent home the week of January 22 and were due back January 31. If your student was absent, they can pick up a packet from the office. I still have a few students who have not returned the forms. Please make sure that those get turned in soon. Mrs. Ingersol, the high school counselor, will be coming February 5 and 6 to visit with our 8th graders about high school schedules.
February 17 is Random Acts of Kindness Day. To celebrate we will have a week of dress up days to help show kindness at school to our teachers, staff and fellow students.
Student of the Month for February
This month, our students of the month are exemplary individuals whose dedication, perseverance, and positive attitude shine brightly within our school community. Each one of them has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, exemplary behavior, and exceptional leadership qualities. This month, our teacher of the month is Mrs. Morgan, an exceptional educator whose dedication to her students sets her apart. Mrs. Morgan's passion for teaching is evident in every aspect of her work.
