Metro Health
MetroHealth is coming back to Oxford! The mobile unit will be here Tuesday December 6th. Metro’s providers can help your student with check ups, immunizations, sports physicals, prescriptions, medication orders for the school nurse, referrals to specialists, and mental and behavioral health issues. Their team can also help with any needs you have at home, like food and clothing, utilities, and housing.
If you’ve already filled out a consent form, no need to do another one. If you haven’t, you can find one in the front office, or online here- MetroHealth consent form . You only need to do this form ONCE in their K-12 career.
If you’d like an appointment on 12/6, please reach out to Ms. Z at Oxford, email SHPSchedule@metrohealth.org or call 216-957-1303. And remember- every Oxford student can be seen at Heights high school any Friday of the school year!

From the Desk of Miss Fiala
The best holiday gift that you can give your child(ren) is time. Time can be very hard to come by, especially during holiday season, so I have added a link to PBS to make it a little easier to come up with activities. PBS has shared some ideas for experiences that you can share with your child(ren) during the holiday season that require different amounts of time. It is also important to involve your child(ren) in the various activities that take place during the holidays. Whether it is preparing the house for the season or making crafts to use to decorate, PBS has come up with a list of age appropriate activities to help around the house.
Medication
Medications cannot be administered in school without the doctor's and parents' instructions. Forms are available in the school office for both prescription and non-prescription or on the website. All medication must be delivered to the school in the original pharmacy container by an adult. Students are not allowed to bring medication to school.
If your student has health concerns, has medication that must be administered during school hours, or if you have questions, please call your school's main office and request to talk to the nurse.
