Attendance Windows
Just a reminder that parent notes must be turned in the day following your absence. Any attendance discrepancies must be settled within these windows (i.e., tardies, mistakes, etc).
November 10 - December 6
December 7 - December 25
January 9 - January 31
February 1 - February 21
February 22 - March 13
March 18 - April 10
April 11 - April 30
May 1 - May 22
Just a reminder, handwritten notes are accepted but you can also email Mrs. Cuevas at tcuevas@caddomillsisd.org. Absences will play a part in determining if a student is exempt from semester exams. Make sure you bring a note the day following your absence!
ALL attendance discrepancies must be addressed within these windows. Corrections will not be made outside of these windows. Be checking your attendance frequently through Skyward.
One Church would like to provide free Thanksgiving meal kits to all those in need. Check out the link for more information.
Knockout List
Just a reminder: Students with missing assignments from the previous week will receive an email Monday morning stating the assignments they're missing that have placed them on the Knockout List. Students will have Monday and Tuesday during the day to turn in these missing assignments and be cleared from the Knockout List. If they have not turned in all missing assignments by Tuesday afternoon, they'll be required to stay for Knockout School. Knockout School is every Tuesday afternoon in the Library (3:50-5:50). If students choose to miss Knockout School, they will be issued a detention.
Admin will be available during lunches on Monday and Tuesday to help clear assignments from the Knockout List. We encourage all students to communicate with their teachers and administrators prior to Knockout School to ensure they've turned in all outstanding assignments.
Cap & Gown Purchasing
Just a reminder that a cap, gown, and tassel are all required to participate in graduation. These will all need to be ordered no later than January 15th. Caps and gowns and other graduation items are ordered online or in the Balfour office (2511 Ridgecrest Road Greenville, Texas). To help make it easy and convenient for online ordering, Balfour has a text line that is answered from 8 am - 9 pm 7 days per week (903-380-5544). Items can also be ordered from their website (www.balfour1.com).
Don't forget your class ring if you have not taken the opportunity to order it!
