Below is a Family Feedback Survey for this school year. The survey is anonymous and will be open for 2 weeks. We would greatly appreciate your feedback. The survey asks you to reflect on aspects of the school as a whole and your child's specific experience in their grade level. We value this information and will use it to make improvements in our practices. Additionally, we'll celebrate what's going well and strive to continue that work. Moving to the Middle-current 5th graders-Registration Now Open

Sherwood School District is pleased to offer the popular 4-day Moving to the Middle transition class for incoming 6th graders who will be attending Sherwood Middle School in the fall. More information and registration details can be found here.

STEM Camp-current 2nd-4th graders-Registration Opens Soon

Once again, Sherwood School District will host a 2-day STEM Camp at each of the elementary schools. The camp will run from 8am-11am on July 11th and July 12th. More information and registration details can be found here.

Sherwood School District will host a 1-day STEM Camp at each of the elementary schools. The camp will run from 8am-11am on July 13th. More information and registration details can be found here.

If your student has medication at school (prescription or over-the-counter), please make sure to pick up any remaining medication from your child's school by June 14th. Medication can be returned to school offices once they reopen in August. Please remember that a new Medication Authorization Form must be filled out each year and provided to the front office, along with the medication in its original container brought in by a parent/guardian.

Updating Student Health/Medical Information

Please make sure that the SSD Health Services Department has your child's up-to-date health information prior to the start of the 2023-24 school year. Please contact us at healthservices@sherwood.k12.or.us or 503.825.5088 with changes or new information.

If you plan to move over the summer, have already made a move, or your student(s) will not be attending Hawks View this fall, please let the office know as soon as possible. As we are starting to think about class sizes for next fall, it’s very important that we know if your child(ren) will be attending school at Hawks View. Any end of year mailings, such as report cards, will not be forwarded and will be returned to the office if we do not have your correct address.

Please remind your student(s) to check the lost and found for any jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles, etc., that they may have lost. We have an abundance of items waiting to be claimed. Any items not claimed by June 23rd will be donated. Lost and found items will be brought to the area near the front doors on June 12th for your convenience.

The SHS Girls Basketball coaches will be hosting a summer camp for 3rd-8th grade students July 17-20. Cost for the four day camp is $125 per student, and all participants will receive a camp t-shirt if they register by June 21!
