Learner Led Conferences are Quickly Approaching

At Lee, all grades will be participating in learner-led conferences. Wednesday's Staff Meeting will be delivered by designers in our building who have utilized learner led conferences. During our staff meeting, we will focus on scheduling, management, and questions and answers that will help you in making the most of this time with your learners and their parents. We hope you have fun!

Mock Conference

In this session, Ayesha will demonstrate and model a learner led conference with a child. Ayesha will play the role of parent. Please join her in the library flex space.

Scheduling and Management

In this session, Samira will share how a designer schedules and manages learner-led conferences. There are many ways to do this. Please join Samira in the Blue House lab.

Q & A

In this session, Sam will share tips and tricks while answering questions you have regarding learner-led conferences. We will compile a FAQ document that will house all campus questions and answers that will be shared at the conclusion of all sessions. Please join Sam in her Red House space.

Where Do I Go? What Do I Do?

We will set up Wednesday's staff meeting time in "ports." This will allow for us to meet each educator at their knowledge level. Each session will last 10 minutes and transitions will be 5 minutes. You can attend the same topic three times, go to one topic twice and another once, or attend all three topics. The choice is up to YOU and your needs.



At the end of each session you will be completing a "ticket out." This will be done digitally so, please bring a mobile device.

  • Session 3 (4:15 - 4:25)

I am a Specials Teacher? What do I do?

Special support teachers (GtI, MLI, Literacy, ESL, SPED) will attend sessions, too, since you will be supporting your specific learners in their learner-led conferences. They should have a goal related to your services.
