Nature's Classroom Updates- 6th Grade
The second Nature’s Classroom payment will be due this Monday, January 8 in the amount of $140. Please make checks payable to the Howard School. We also ask that you write your child’s name on the memo line and Nature’s Classroom. This is also the last call to be considered for a chaperone on this trip. Paperwork was sent home this week to all parents who requested information.
Our candy bar fundraiser is still continuing. We thank you for your support and enthusiasm, it makes a huge difference. We have quite a few boxes left to sell. If you are interested in selling another box please send an email or a note to your child’s homeroom teacher. Please send in the money from the sold candy bars as you finish selling a box. We have many students who have not returned the money from the initial box in November.
Ms. Roberts- Phys Ed
Just a reminder about the gym rule change with sneakers! Please make sure your child has sneakers to wear on their gym day. They can bring them to change into or keep in their locker! Any questions please email Miss Roberts, eroberts@wbridgewater.com
Art Room Request
The Art Room is looking for donations:
Yarn - All grades will start weaving projects in a couple of months, and we could use some yarn.
Tissues
Disinfecting Wipes
If you have any questions please feel free to contact Mrs. Tomas at ktomas@wbridgewater.com
School Lunch
Universal free school meals - Both Breakfast and Lunch are Free! We hope your student dines with us! Click on WB Food Services to find Monthly menus. Locally grown fruits and veggies are still being served each week.
Adding money for a la carte items: While meals are free, students must have money on their accounts to buy extra items. Milk is available for students that bring meals from home for $.75 at all schools and Howard and the MSHS offer many healthy snacks and bottled water. Cash and checks are accepted and electronic payments can be made through MySchoolBucks. You will need your child's 10-digit SASID# to register for a MySchoolBucks account.
Pizza Topping Ballot- Thanks to the Student Council, the Cafe was able to offer a new choice for a pizza topping on Dec 21st. The Student Council brainstormed with the Food Service Director to create a ballot with pizza topping choices. All students voted and the winner was bacon. It was delicious!
Food Assistance- Project Bread Food Source Hotline and The West Bridgewater Food Pantry located at 457 Rear, South Main Street in WB, distributes to residents the first and third Wednesday of every month.
Any Questions? Please contact Mrs. Ann Marie Grinder, Food Service Director by email at agrinder@wbridgewater.com or at (508)894-1220.
