Safety Training
On Wednesday during advisory, all students will participate in a brief refresher training in which advisors will review safety protocols including evacuation, stay-in-place, and lockdown. Rather than run actual drills which would be challenging due to health guidelines, teachers will discuss scenarios, review plans, and answer students' questions.
Inspired Learning Day Rescheduled
The Inspired Learning Day scheduled for February 16 is postponed until March 17. We know how much students get excited about this day and want to be sure that we have enough sessions and community partners to host a day that is not only aligned with student interests but also connects them with professionals that can provide authentic experiences to our students.

Interested in taking the ASVAB Exam?
The ASVAB, or Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery exam, is offered to students who are interested in learning about their vocational aptitudes. The ASVAB is a timed multi-aptitude test that helps to determine which jobs would be best for you. Taking this exam does not mean that you have to make any commitment to join the military. The exam will take place on April 13, 2022 during the school day. If you are interested in taking the ASVAB exam, please email Leigh-ann Miklavic at lmiklavic@mursd.org.
